WHO ARE WE? The Tyler Modelers Club (TMC) is a radio-controlled (RC) model aircraft club made up of a diverse cross-section of residents of the area. Members have a vast range of experience ranging from beginners to over 50 years. Individual members' interest cover all aspects of RC modelling including sport, scale, electrics, helicopters, micro, aerobatics, 3D, pylon racing, combat, etc. Almost 100 members enjoy the use of two flying sites - a manicured flying field at Northside Park in north Tyler, and a beautiful float-fly site on Lake Palestine south of Tyler (see maps on back). |

FREE TRAINING TMC offers free training for new members! Flight instruction for inexperienced modelers can usually be arranged with experienced TMC members. This includes advice for beginners on which aircraft and radio equipment they should obtain for training, how to complete and set up their aircraft, etc. |

HOW TO JOIN
* Visit the website and find out about TMC and its activities. * Join the Academy of Model Aeronatics (required to fly at club sites). * Get a copy of a TMC application (Wings&Wheels Hobby Shop, flying field; TMC Website) * Fill out the application completely and send it with dues, as indicated. |
