It is a tradition with TMC that all flying members congregate at the field in north Tyler on the first day of each new year, regardless of the weather! And they come ready to fly! Sometimes it may mean each member only is able to take the flight box for a few seconds, but, HEY! It's all in fun.

Flying, not just presence, entitles each member to a year's membership in the much proclaimed TMC BLACK-EYED PEA CLUB. They are entitled to be listed in these pages and receive much honor and glory and fame due in that calendar year. And, any visiting Pilots who fly are entitled to be honorary members for that year. Membership is re-established each January 1.
